Why We Created this Initiative
Ascend Therapy is committed to serving the families, faculty, and staff that make our public schools thrive. After expanding our practice to North Carolina in 2024, our goal has been to continue providing quality care throughout the Triangle.
We recognize the workload placed on teachers, administrators, parents, and students and we believe wellness should support the people who support our children. This program allows families to invest in the community they care about.
How the $5,000 School Donation Works
Each 4-hour massage package purchase counts as one credit toward the school selected at checkout.
The first school to reach 50 credited purchases wins the donation.
The winning school may choose to give the donation to one of the following organizations:

About Alicia Solara
Alicia Samuel-Ninou, LMBT (NC License #21997) — currently completing a legal name change to Alicia Solara — is a licensed massage and bodywork therapist based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She began her massage career in 2014, later earning a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise Science, and previously practiced in Florida before relocating to North Carolina.
Alicia specializes in orthopedic manual therapy, sports massage, and restorative bodywork for pain relief, mobility, and long-term functional performance. Her method blends clinical knowledge with yoga-based therapy, biomechanics, and breath-focused movement to support recovery and mind-body resilience.
Licensed in North Carolina since June 2024, she focuses on practical healing, client education, and accessible wellness for individuals ready to take ownership of their health.
